With a verandah of your own, your cruise line stateroom becomes a little piece of Disney Heaven where you can be alone, or with members of your family, and recollect your thoughts. Enjoy watching the peaceful water and check out the land in the distance. If your room has a sea view but no verandah, you will have a large port hole through which to view the landscape. Those who have an inside room or a standard room, have their own view of the sea through a "Magic Mirror" that plays real time video from the bridge to your room. There are connecting staterooms available for larger families. Special H2O, spa and bath items are located in all stateroom baths. All Staterooms are designed featuring nautical decorations. In 2011 a new category of standard room that only sleeps 3 will be made available.
Youth Clubs
There is something for guests of all ages on the Disney Wonder. The Youth Clubs are age appropriate and are managed by trained Disney crew members.
Aloft – on deck 11, mid ship, where kids ages 13 – 17 can hang out, watch TV, play video games, check out the computers and generally have fun. This Youth Club is open from Noon until 2 A.M.
Oceaneer Club – found on deck 5 and open from 9 A.M. until Midnight for kids 3 -12. Become a princess or a hero for a day and enjoy other activities and games. Think Peter Pan and Captain Hook’s pirate ship. There is a computer lab, multiple TV’s, and areas for exploring and climbing.
Flounder’s Reef Nursery – available on Disney Wonder for ages 3 months -three years. The nursery area has baby swings, walkers, games, toys, cribs, a TV including a DVD player showing Disney movies.
Quarter Masters – What every kid loves; an arcade filled with the newest and best video games, air hockey and more from 8 A.M. until midnight..
Studio Sea – The family hangout that parents and children can enjoy karaoke, shows, games, dancing and having the time of their life.
There is so much to do on board a Disney cruise; parents can enjoy their time together and apart from their children with no worry about whether or not their children are being supervised. The on board activities are available for everyone, focusing each activities to a specific age group.
Between all the options for dining, state rooms, and entertainment, your vacation can become overwhelming. Don’t let that happen! Enjoy your vacation, take your time, experience unexpected pleasures, and most of all – have fun!
